Collaborative Climate and Knowledge Sharing among ESP Teachers: A Mixed Method Study

Research on teacher collaboration emphasizes the key role of collaborative culture for teachers’ functioning; however, there is little empirical evidence to investigate its relationship with knowledge sharing among university ESP teachers. In present study, between EFL climate and knowledge was sought. The data were collected through two surveys 328 Iranian A Pearson correlation carried out between variables study. multiple regression analysis also run examine if predicts their sharing. follow-up interview 13 teachers conducted consolidate findings and explore contribution sharing. The coefficient test demonstrated a significant positive four measures (organizational culture, head department, attitude, workgroup support), climate. results indicated that four subscales predictors attitude towards Analysis data, other hand, how collaborative contributes one main sources, namely helpful atmosphere, encouragement received from heads departments, the expectation reward, work group support. line these findings, several practical recommendations offered.
